ABSTRACT
The most important criteria to appreciate the optimal character of the training process are: efficiency, quality and consumption of time and effort of the coaches and sportsmen in order to fulfill the tasks.
Our research aimed at improving the training process in Rhythmic Gymnastics, focusing on optimizing the technical preparation. The experimental group consisted in 8 junior players, in the 2nd and the 3rd qualification categories, and our initial hypothesis was the following: the bi-dimensional bio-mechanical analysis (2D) of hoop throwing helps optimizing the technical training of the focus group. In this way, as a result of the bio-mechanical analysis of the technical elements, a system of methods has been elaborated and it has been experimentally tested in terms of accessibility and efficiency. At the same time, the aim was to maximize the possible improvement of the realization conditions of the optimal version and also the analysis of the obtained results in competitions, reported to optimizing criteria.
As a general conclusion, we wish to underline that, by implementing the bio-mechanical analysis, it is easily to evaluate both the progress of the players and the time spared for their technical training. This method also leads to the heightened awareness of one’s own execution, which also triggers a more realistic and correct self-assessment.
