SPORT AND SOCIETY. Interdisciplinary Journal of Physical Education and Sports
(p-ISSN 1582-2168) is a biannual scientific journal published by the ALTIUS ACADEMY Foundation -  Faculty of Physical Education and Sports, "Alexandru Ioan Cuza" University of Iasi, ROMANIA. It looks towards the concerns of experts’ studies and research in sports science and other related sciences.
Since 2008 the journal gained international recognition by indexing to INDEXCOPERNICUS database (http://journals.indexcopernicus.com/karta.php?id=4258)

National Council of Scientific Rersearch in Romania (2010, 2011): B+.
Index Copernicus (2010): 4.07 points.

Collaboration is open to teaching staff from higher education in different specialties, teachers in different levels of education, coaches and experts in sports clubs and also researchers from all fields related to sport.
Priority is given to inter-disciplinary papers. Approaching scientific research, both basic and applied as a constant factor improvement and progress, the editor comes to stimulate the experts’ research activities.
We publish work that reflects the relationship of physical education and sport science with other sciences, studies on various practical and theoretical activities in our field, the implications on the Romanian society and beyond.
